High Top Sneakers
(Ménage à Trois)

This 14-color woodblock print was carved on two blocks of shina (tilia) plywood, and printed using a hand-crank press. I use a reduction technique, cutting away more and more of the surface between each print run so as to create multiple layers of color from a single piece of wood. Thus it is impossible to go back and reprint a block.
